About this course
Two lash techs can use the same lashes, the same adhesive and the same tweezers, and one will have clients back every two weeks for years while the other rebooks half of them. The difference is almost never the products. It is isolation, weight, adhesive handling and the environment the set was made in.
This course is about retention and safety, in that order of how often they cost people money — and the reverse order of how much they matter. Nine hours covering natural lash growth cycles, weight mathematics, isolation discipline, cyanoacrylate chemistry, humidity and cure, mapping to the eye in front of you, and the allergic and irritant reactions that every busy tech eventually meets.
It assumes you are already qualified and insured to apply lashes. It is the layer of understanding that turns a technician who follows a process into one who can diagnose why a set failed.

What you need
- No kit required for the course or assessment
- A weight and mapping reference sheet is included as a printable download
- For practice: your usual adhesive, a lash training head and a hygrometer (a basic one is a few pounds and is used in module 5)

Questions
- Can I learn to apply lashes from this course?
- No. Lash extension application is a practical skill requiring hands-on training and treatment-specific insurance, and any online course claiming otherwise is selling you something you cannot use. This is CPD for technicians who are already qualified and insured.
- Do I need volume experience to take it?
- No. Classic techs use the volume module to decide whether to move into it and what it will demand. The weight arithmetic in module 2 is worth the course on its own even if you never fan a lash.
- Will my insurer accept the certificate?
- Insurers generally want to see your practical qualification plus evidence of ongoing CPD. This certificate is the second of those. It does not replace the first, and we will not pretend it does — check with your own insurer if you are adding a technique.
- Do you recommend particular adhesives?
- No brands. Adhesives change formulation constantly and brand loyalty makes people slow to notice their room has changed. You learn to read a technical data sheet and match an adhesive to your conditions instead.
